Please support your local bookshop. Without them there is nowhere for our writing to go. We lost so many record shops and it really damaged our music scene. I hope we don't underestimate the real risk to our literary culture if we don't support our book shops.

Just reading, onto Part 2 - bloody hell 😳

Started last night, can’t put it down - really, really good 😳

I can't believe a month of my leave is gone already. The weeks are whizzing by! Feeling less tired which is good, but I know I need to go back to my original plan of stepping back from my phone and taking time to just be. I'm too easily distracted!

I was lucky to get a proof copy of Ghost Mountain from Bluemoose Books and hand on heart, it is extraordinary. Rónán is such a gifted and unique writer. As soon as I get my finished copy I will re-read it.
