It was a privilege to spend an hour with three of the most preeminent legal minds in our country discussing the implications of Trump’s flagrant mishandling of government documents.

Mikhail Gorbachev personified bold & courageous leadership by recognizing that the Soviet system was morally bankrupt & fatally flawed. He was a noble statesman & a compassionate human being.

In other words, he was everything that Vladimir Putin is not.

I strongly suspect that the release of even a heavily redacted version of the affidavit will show:

1) a strong national security imperative for the retrieval of documents illegally retained & stored at Mar-a-Lago

2) the reckless irresponsibility & deceit of Donald Trump Inc.

DOJ & FBI are the bedrocks of law and order in the United States. Their professionals as well as the current leadership of both organizations deserve our trust, confidence, and respect.
