The point of this raid was terror. They waited for those kids to fall asleep. And then they pulled the tents from under them while they were sleeping. Shame on the University of Chicago.

I hope you’re aware that the Conservative government has systematically decimated the NHS for 14 years, and that’s why GPs are under so much pressure?

🚨Students at 14 UK universities have now set up Gaza solidarity encampments, the latest being Oxford, Cambridge, Liverpool, Edinburgh, and SOAS.

They are demanding that their institutions cut ties with Israel.

Does anyone in the UK at this point believe that the Tories want to support anyone with health problems?

My colleague in Rafah said today that she woke her 6-month-old baby up in the middle of the night to play. With the heavy bombardment, she thought it would be their last night alive: 'If this would be my last night at least I got the chance to hug my daughter for the last time.'

There is no meaningful ‘spare capacity’ in the private health sector to help the NHS, regardless of what politicians say.

Why? Because the vast majority of doctors in private sector also work in the NHS. Increase private sector work, and they’ll just poach NHS staff to do it 🚨

I’m listening to David Bowie very loudly, while responding to dozens of emails from people who understand that NHS privatisation is indeed happening, and are pretty upset about what Tory MPs are telling their constituents.

To anyone thinking ‘there’s no point protesting, or signing petitions’, what’s the alternative? Going silent?

We cannot ever go silent. We must keep protesting and speaking up about the issues that matter. It is desperately important 🚨

Today I saw a Palestinian man pick up pieces of flesh to put in a body bag, a child’s lifeless body pulled from the rubble, and a little girl being carried with a blood-soaked face,

Then I saw American students get arrested by riot police with batons…for protesting this horror.

I am disturbed & distressed by the renewed military activity in Rafah by the Israeli Defence Forces.

I urge the Government of Israel to stop any escalation, and engage constructively in the ongoing diplomatic talks.

Just in case anyone’s wondering why the NHS has gone down the drain; politicians are destroying it, so that it still exists in name, but becomes a terrible system which you’d only use as a last resort. Meanwhile, they’re massively expanding the private sector.
