Yesterday’s awful news about the killing of seven aid workers by Israeli forces is the latest in a string of horrors in Gaza.
It brings the total number of aid workers killed to 196, despite their protection under international law.

Today I asked the Minister what the Government is doing to support getting aid into Gaza, especially reinforcing its support for UNWRA as many countries around the world have done.

A good conversation with the Rt Hon David Lammy earlier today, much to follow up on.

#UNSC Resolution 2728 must be implemented immediately, and all council members must work for a sustained ceasefire. Efforts must not delay the beyond-urgent need for aid delivery, including removal of obstacles to aid across Gaza and use of all routes and border crossings.
