1) Dear Haley Byrd Wilt,
Thank you for your report on revealing sexual harrasement problems among others about two personalities who lead Uyghur Human Rights Organisations, including the World Uyghur Congress which I am ( Enver Can) a co-founder of.

Sharing this again this to reiterate: notice the names on the email. These individuals were absolutely not blindsided by this.

They continued to actively promote both the men in question & narratives against me while knowing concerns had been raised.

When people are evaluating next steps in terms of partnering with NGOs, it's important to carefully evaluate who covered for the behavior.

Removing one person won't fix anything if the system is not reformed.
