2/3 Lea was Collective Voice’s first independent Chair. His leadership and support to Collective Voice and the substance misuse treatment and recovery field will be greatly missed.

1/3 With great sadness we share news of the death of Collective Voice’s Chair of Trustees Lea Milligan who passed away on Monday 15 April following a sudden illness.

Our thoughts are with Lea, his children and family and also with his many friends and colleagues.

Just 6 months into the running of this new service we are keen to share our learning with whoever wants to listen.

Such sad news. Lea was a brilliant Chair of Collective Voice and a lovely person. He will be missed by the Drug and Alcohol sector. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

On about the fifth name you can see that I look up and I choke as I go on to read the next name because what I saw when I looked up was the families of killed women standing up in the gallery as a mark of respect. It took everything I had to not just break down in tears.
