It’s MASC festival time! I spent the day at the #SciTechMuseum, running workshops with budding young writers and illustrators. Such fun!

I’ll be running a drawing workshop for kids in grades 4-8 at the upcoming MASC Festival in Ottawa - check it out if you know any young people who are keen writers / drawers / storytellers!

My kid and I collaborated on some mostly merry gift tags. I continued last year’s theme of Just Add Stripy Scarf to make anything festive. I particularly like the festive pickle and my kid’s human sized hot chocolate. Hope you’re having fun getting ready for the holidays!

All ready for my graphic novel workshop tomorrow w/ SCBWI Canada East. It will be me & 40 other writers / illustrators talking all things comics. My wonderful editor, Karen Wojtyla (@SimonKIDS), will also be joining us. Of course I had to dig out some fav graphic novels to share!
