The final action item sees the Board approve 6-0 the recommendations for principals at Eagle Ridge ES, North Riverside ES, Park Glen ES, and Parkwood Hill IS for 2024-25. Look for more details about those hires soon as we welcome these new administrators to KISD!

The Board approves 6-0 an extension through 2029 to hold graduation at Dickies Arena. The state-of-the-art arena will host its third year of KISD commencements next week and is the closest available venue of its size, allowing graduates to have unlimited guests.

Trustees approve a Resolution Regarding the Vital Role of Educators and Staff in Texas 6-0. The action brings to the Governor and Legislature’s attention that the Governor's own task force recommended increasing teacher/staff pay and calls for an increase in the basic allotment.
