Happy retirement Grace McCatty. One of the good ones and has had a long career in both the WSL and the Championship. Good luck with the next stage of your career.

Very proud to have reached 100 WSL appearances last night. Some very special memories throughout the years 😊

I’m really pleased Ada is staying at Lyon. It’s big for her and it’s big for them.
In an era when the likes of Man Utd, Barcelona, Bayern Munich (and others) woke up to women’s football, Lyon led the way ten years ago, and set the bar very high. Important they remain a force.

Ironic latest tweet from Stoke considering Kayleigh McDonald’s appeal for funding.
Perhaps you should back your player and support her with her injury!

Regularly getting these sorts of numbers even off the back of little promotion (which isn’t a criticism, club has been testing what demand looks like without pulling out all the promotional stops) against a lower mid table team, seriously impressive.

Football is becoming unaffordable and is pricing out some fans. I hope clubs are listening and recognise fans are not customers - as much as they perceive them as that.
Its examples like below, which again confuse me as to why the women's game is criticised for being affordable!

Not sure how well it has been advertised, but the US Women's basketball team has a pre-Olympics match in London in July. I just got tickets for £25, which feels cheap considering the talent likely on show. I don't profess to be knowledgeable, but very much looking forward to it.

Chelsea have been outstanding the last decade in the FA Cup and it will always take a lot to stop them. I don’t have a loyalty to either side but it will be nice to see a new name on the trophy.

Immediate relegation for Watford. Disappointing to see the team given little support or opportunity to stay up, with the end result inevitable.
The head coach being named as part of Tom Cleverly’s setup highlights that the side probably wasn’t a priority. Deserved better.

Told Tottenham’s ticket sales for today’s Women’s FA Cup SF are close to what they had for the NLD in December. They got 19,480 in attendance that day. Leicester provided free transport for 6 coaches of away fans to travel down to London this morning. Good work from both clubs.

Heading to Spurs v Leicester for the first of two Adobe Women's FA Cup semifinals today.
One of these two teams will book a place at Wembley for the very first time. The romance of the cup.❤️

Happy 10th anniversary to the Championship. Ten years ago I was stood at Berkhamsted Town watching Watford and Millwall Lionesses play out a 2-2 draw. Emily Heaslip came on for Watford that day. Today she referees one of the Adobe Women's FA Cup semi finals.
