I had an overdue visit to the People Hive in Heath Rd, Twickenham & was made very welcome by CEO Sam & her team. Not just a shop, but helping the less able getting into meaningful work & supporting local artists. A unique charity that’s soon going to celebrate 6 yrs in Twick!

What a great idea encouraging young people to continue reading. Great to meet Nathanael Lessore, Children’s Author, at the Cover Story Event, Richmond Library yesterday. Reading is a life long love of literature & should be encouraged. Thanks.

My Mayoral Bowls competition was held at Radnor Gardens at the Strawberry Hill Bowls Club. Hampton Bowling Club won, well done to all. There was, as always, friendly rivalry, a warm welcome & even the sun came out to warm us all. Thanks.

'Reduce, re-use & recycle' was what a group of the children sung about on Sunday, one of the aims of the 'Earth Day' Trafalgar Infants An event with lots of energy being exerted by Parents, Staff Children & other contributors like the Repair Cafe. An interesting & educational event.

What a wonderful venue St Philip and All Saints (The Barn) Church, Kew for the first concert in Kew Wind Orchestra 40th year as one of our premier orchestras! An eclectic programme as always that got me toe tapping & I was in awe of the soloists. Fabulous evening that I thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks.

I was accompanied by Cllr. Combes as my Consort to the Q2 Players excellent ‘double bill’ of plays, Dominion & Marble Arch The National Archives. I believe tickets are still available & the venue is a must see too! So why not combine a visit with a cultural end to the evening. Thanks.

Yesterday was my last charity fund raiser for my two charities SEEN charity Age UK Richmond upon Thames the famous Fish&Chip Cruise from Richmond to Hampton Court. Joined by supporters & fellow Mayors, we had a great time raising money as we went. Thanks to the team & Angela -Visit Richmond!

I was pleased to have been invited to the performances that Rhea Pradhan gave at Tiffin Girls' School.Rhea showed great discipline of mind as well as skill. She has been learning Bharatanatyam, an ancient Indian classical dance, for many years at the Upahaar School of Dance

I had some good conversations with the guests of Ham and Petersham SOS who held an Easter Afternoon Tea in Ham. I also enjoyed a cup of tea, and a piece of cake! I am pictured with Helen, the Chair of Trustees and Karen, the Manager of SOS.
