They do get an extra one but after Adam walked Ref, the catcher went out to talk to him and used the extra one that was given to them in the 9th

Called the Sox game tonight and didn’t really follow the Celts that closely. The fact that Al has his best game in 3 yrs and I still get people trolling me with “Average Al” is hysterical. I’m happy for him. He’s a good role player. Has been for a while.

This man was a legend on the field. We may not have hit it off at 1st (Frosh yr) but our mutual respect grew to the point to where he was talking to College Coaches on my behalf. The man cared about the game and loved teaching kids how to play it. He will be missed.

Slaten could use a good outing. Last 2 have been unlike what we’ve seen all year. He’s got good stuff.

Given that explanation, I’m fine with you disagreeing with me. “Don’t care they were in AAA last yr” ???

Dalbec, Valdez, Hamilton, Rafaella, Grissom and Abreu all in AAA a yr ago. Duran & Wong coming off 1st full season. Cooper was DFa’d by Cubs. Smith was in AAA this yr. Romy DFA’d by CWS. Tough look blaming the hitting Coach. They’re learning.

Sox 9H, 5 BB’s. 1 run. If the Sox were a Golfer…..They’re driving the ball well, they’re hitting Greens in regulation. They just can’t putt worth a shit right now. It will turn, but it’s cost them a few games this past week.

The sequence: Flyout to right by Refsnyder (with Rafaela advancing to 3rd), O'Neill strikes out looking on a full-count backdoor cutter, Devers grounds to short for an inning-ending fielder's choice. The Sox have gone 20 straight PAs with RISP without scoring.

When it’s just a couple games, it’s no big deal. When it’s a week long? It starts getting in your head and you start trying to do too much with RISP. Stress sets in. Duran is upset over that last strike called. The first 2 FB split the plate. That’s where the AB was lost.

Actually. I think it was more “Did you hit him” “oh my, did I hit him?? I hit him??” That was already reported.

I’ll admit I’m not familiar with court hearings, but I’ve been following the Karen Read case the last couple days. Isn’t the prosecution supposed to try to prove the Defendant committed the crime?? Seems like they’re trying to prove who didn’t do it or who wasn’t involved instead

Why is the Commonwealth, in its prosecution of , presenting a defense against the Defense’s theory of the case rather than presenting evidence of the murder they allege & have charged Karen Read with?

Who’s really on trial here? 🤔

Trial
