The peace of our souls doesn't have to rise & fall with unpredictable people or situations.

Our feelings will shift, of course. People do affect us.

But the peace of our souls can be tethered to all that God is. We can let His Word wrap around our souls with steady assurance.

Worship reminds our trembling hearts and shaky knees that our God is mighty, our God is loving, and our God is more than able.

It both quiets us and strengthens us. And then it prepares us for what lies ahead.

Yes. Worry less. Worship more. It truly is the best battle plan.

Lord, help us go to people. Listen to people. Start where they are, not where we want them to be. And from their point of need, lovingly share the Good News. We don’t want to run people over with our agendas and perceptions and points of view. We want to love them like You do.

For me, faith means…

I want to be diligent but reliant on God.
I want to be responsible but willing to risk for God.
I want to be bold but completely humble before God.
I want His work to be so richly evident in my life.

What does faith look like for you right now?

Stay with Jesus. Filter everything through His love. And declare His name & His hope over whatever you feel you can't bear one more day.

You were handpicked by God for the epic assignment masked by what seems like a normal Tuesday, to show others there are still good people in this world. Let kindness bloom wild and free and unrestrained today, friend.

Real faith isn’t a hopeful wish. Real faith is making the decision that no matter the outcome, we’ll choose to see it as God’s perfect answer.

This doesn’t mean we won’t cry and express hurt. But through the good and not so good, we will choose to trust Him. Because God is good.

'For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.' Eph. 6:12

Help us remember we have an enemy, Lord. And it's not each other.

God is a God of completion. He makes promises and then He fulfills them. Even if we don’t see it in this life—He will complete what He has set out to complete.

Yes, seeing the good come from hard things takes time. But we have the absolute assurance that it will come.

We can trust His timing. We can trust His plans. We can trust His heart.

Hope for when you aren’t sure if you can press through one more hard situation...

“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:10

While Jesus may lead us into 'valleys' we would rather avoid, He will never lead us carelessly.

Even when our heart is hurting… even when we don't understand what He’s doing… we can trust His love. We can follow Jesus, the Shepherd who laid down His life for His sheep. Ps 23

Dare to believe it, sweet friend. You are never so broken that God can’t take your story and use it for good.

Let’s praise God today for who He is … Our God who fulfills His purposes. Our God who saves. Our God whose steadfast love and faithfulness know no end.

Be brave today. You’re stronger than you know.

You’re held safe in our great God’s mercy. He will be with you.

Even if you can’t see the whole pathway forward, trust goodness is ahead. Just cling to His Truth… and let God light the way step by step.

Our God is a God of completion. He makes promises and then He fulfills them. They may take longer than we’d like and the journey may be harder than we expected, but we can rest assured that our God will always be found faithful.

Everything broken doesn't have to be completely fixed for us to be completely fine. We can be scared & brave & frail & unbelievably strong all in the same leap of faith. We can be hurt but we don't have to live hurt.

Broken is what people are. Beautiful is what God makes them.

I'm so thankful God promises He can use hurt for good.

It’s okay to tell Him we don’t like any of the pain. But we can't let the pain cause us to pull away from Him. We can trust Him, even when we don’t understand Him.

Lord, I trust You. You know me like no other. You love me like no other. And that combination assures me that You know what I need and when I need it.
