450 survivors and Honor Guard families gathered with Santa for a wonderful holiday event at Xcel Energy Center for Disney On Ice

We mourn the loss of Chicago Police Officer Samuel Jimenez, a father of three who had joined the Chicago Police Department last year and recently finished his probationary period.

He died in the Line of Duty seeking to protect those he was sworn to serve.

Our sadness and grief is almost too much to bear.

Our thoughts and prayers are extended to Corrections Officer Joseph Parise and his family and friends.

His courage and valor will be forever remembered with respect and dignity.
