Day 5 of World Bank & IMF meetings & I am grappling with one q- are the politics really intractable? Can we not agree a solution? We have technical answers but keep hitting the political brick wall. We have a global crisis and we must agree glocal not local solutions.

Great to take stock of work on #GFA reform w/ partners in #Africa & Globally. We are making progress but need to do more to ensure SDR amendment is approved by IMF board, IDA is successful, institutional reforms happen & UN Int’l Tax System proposal is approved. Lots to do!

It was a great honour to moderate the IDA - World Bank Forum on #IDA21 . Great discussion on the importance of IDA between the Bank & #CSOs . We need more money, better impact, greater transparency & and an even stronger partnership to ensure IDA 21 is transformational!
