The Green River Ferry is open to all vehicles, including recreational vehicles and trailers. There is a 2-vehicle limit on the ferry and a 12-ton weight limit for transport. Please read and obey all posted signage before boarding the ferry and during transport.

Park officials have closed roads at the Cave City, Chaumont, Pig, and Brownsville entrances due to several trees blocking the roadways. Park road crews will respond in the morning after the severe weather has passed.

Due to pending weather conditions, Mammoth Cave Visitor Center will close today at 3:30 pm cst. Late afternoon cave tours are canceled. The ferry will remain in operation until 4 pm. Please use caution as we are under a tornado watch until 9 pm this evening.
