Refugees from Myanmar need the UK to advocate on their behalf when they escape to neighbouring countries. Instead the British government destroys its credibility not just by doing this, but by boasting about it. And also cutting aid to refugees worldwide.

Those who drafted the Refugee Convent in the wake of the Holocaust will be turning in their graves.
