Question for those who know: what level umpire, if thrown into an MLB game, would perform as poorly as Angel Hernandez? Single-A? College? High School? Lower?

He was obviously awful relative to replacement level MLB ump, but I’d like to get an absolute sense.

1/ I always get lots of pushback for this, but I think that demanding recusal is silly when judges take a stand on issues of public policy / electoral politics. We all know they have views on these issues; I think we're actually better off as a polity when they express them.

High turnout does not help Democrats anymore. Those days are done.
