Black Mamba Tries to Escape Crocodile

A crocodile found a black mamba coming down to the water for a drink. The croc was too slow on its first try, but then went back in for the kill. An interaction we have never seen before!!

While in the Dallas area we visited a couple of parks. Didn't see a ton of wildlife but did come across this Water Moccasin hanging out right next to the boardwalk at the Heard Museum. I'm not sure why the head was so white like this. #snake

Our youngest Barred Owl baby is the most vocal of our babies. This sound is a food begging noise. This baby is only a few days old and the eyes are still closed. Food calling starts whenever they hear noise or movement that may indicate something that can feed them is nearby.
