Due to projected inclement weather, the installation commander has ordered delayed reporting for non-essential personnel until 10:00 a.m. on Jan. 16 for both Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex.

The base welcomed the United States Navy Blue Angels advance team in an F/A-18 Super Hornet today for the team’s winter visit. The purpose of the visit is to check the airfield and tour the site for our Beyond the Horizon Air and Space Show on April 6 and 7, 2024.

The Maxwell-Gunter Base Honor Guard has coordinated a Toy Drive they are calling “Operation Guardian Joy” for Christmas this year. They have teamed with the Mercy House of Montgomery who will accept the toys and send them to where they are needed most.
