Today, I had the pleasure of stopping by York Memorial CI to discuss the importance of learning history and geography.
Knowing our history is key to navigating today's world, and geography is key to knowing our place in that world. Best of luck with all your studies!
In #RiversideTO today with @MayorChow today to talk CaféTO. We're on track to open 90% of curb lane patios by the May long weekend.
This is earliest opening yet and part of improvements to better support our local restaurants, bars & cafés.
Thanks for having us Eastbound Brewing Co!
This weekend I joined the launch of the Little Jamaica Community Land Trust. This evening I had a chance to join the Kensington Market Community Land Trust (Kensington Market Community Land Trust).
They're doing important work to build community power in what is one of our most beloved neighbourhoods.
Community Land Trusts are about coming together and taking ownership. It's great to see more sprout up in here.
Parkdale. Kensington. Chinatown. Now Little Jamaica.
Great to join Blackurbanismto.eth and others at the launch of the Little Jamaica Community Land Trust yesterday!
It was wonderful to be in North York with Lily Cheng to celebrate Food Hall TO. It is a dedicated space for fresh, new food vendors to start their businesses. Check it out at foodhallto.com
Congratulations to all the vendors!
