I FOI’d these same stats on asylum applications from visa holders a few months ago and was told by the Home Office “Such a dataset does not exist”.

And yet here it is… Frustrating.

Note: some have pointed out the big increase in dependants per main health & care applicant
Important caveat is that dependants don't necessarily apply in the same quarter as the main applicant (they sometimes come later) - so this may be a blip involving *earlier* applicants…
