Nice Saturday afternoon. That Ovid Exp was the original that turned into Hexameter. SO cool to try it.

What a great tasting last night.

You know when I am at dinner with my wife. 😂. This is a really nice Champagne. I need to drink it more often. If you are in St. Louis - this neighborhood and this wine bar is worth a stop!!!

These are bottles I have opened (and posted) before - but they aer SO good. This 08 was perfect. The Realm (‘21 I think) is young and HUGE beautiful tropical fruits - and just a really nice wine.

Wasn’t’ great about pics, tonight. Missed the Dana Sauv Blanc (for Sauv Blanc Day) - missed the Tor ‘14 and the Mayacamas ‘16, etc. . But several great drinking spots. Started at Clayton Winehouse - then Don Alfonso - then Napoli. Cheers gang. SO happy for a gorgeous night!

Any U of Indiana/Bloomington folks on here. Thoughts on best restaurants - best wine shops - ways NOT to pay $900/night for parents weekend hotels. 😂

Am I the only one that thinks these “City Park Restaurants” could do a lot better - if they just had a DECENT wine list? This one was SO mediocre - it’s like they aren’t even trying.

Solid night with great friends. Took our “house champagne” out of the house. Always great. Olive+Oak - still one of the best in town!!

Couple patio wines, last night. Gotta love the Spring!

Did someone ring the bell? Non-dosage (or no sugar added) isn’t my favorite, generally, but I do love Philipponate wines a lot. If I had to choose - I’d stick with their Royale Reserve. I need to try their “higher-end” wines - just to see.

What a night. This Fairest Creature is a “bucket list” wine. Really lucky to get the chance to taste it. My Schrader was SO great. My Femme Champagne was “meh.” The Futos, great. The Tor, great. Cheers, everyone!

Early evening at the Winehouse…..then later on on my patio. I’m tired. 😂. ‘14 Etain was So solid. But all these wines showed really well. Like $40 Zin - $80 Grenache - and $$$ Cabs. But beautiful wines.

Dinner - then patio - on such an amazing night in St. Louis. Not ready for hot - so gotta enjoy every nice night. This Champagne is really nice! NJ Sauv is always good!
