PIP is for moderate to severe disability and it is v difficult to qualify for.

Yes, it is a crisis that 2/3 of sickness claims are for mental ill-health. Because the sheer level of mental ill-health is a crisis. You can’t systematically destroy the NHS and all support systems then wonder why people’s mental health deteriorates. It’s really not very complex.

I’m happy my tax money is used to provide financial support to those who are too unwell to work. I’m also more than happy to pay taxes on the premise that if I’m one of the unlucky ones who can’t work due to ill health I will be financially supported
