Deeply honoured for the lifetime achievement award by the Medical Women’s International Association received on my behalf by Dr Nathan Bakyaita , World Health Organization (WHO) representative in Zambia. It’s my sincere hope that this recognition will inspire young women to pursue careers in public health!

My thoughts are with communities devastated by floods in Kenya that have affected 227 000 people.
Over 700 first responders trained by World Health Organization (WHO) have been deployed in the most affected areas. We're working closely with the government & partners in the efforts to scale up the response.

Had insightful roundtable today on Rethinking Malaria Elimination in Nigeria.
While progress has been made, we're falling off track. We must reignite & step up the pace. I thank H.E Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hon Muhammad Ali Pate for the leadership to drive Nigeria's malaria elimination agenda.
