Since the start of the Pandemic we at SS have not been invited to participate in any of Hackney Council's events & meetings. We have received no support & Cllrs don't engage with us. We are active around the UK but ignored in our own Borough. Here's why👇🏿

I understand the point of calling the police to create a paper trail, even with knowing how the police can be in these situations. This just makes organisations like Sistah Space so much more important to support women who may feel ignored/forgotten by the police #TalkswithAsh

This is quite embarrassing Hackney Police as i am a youth worker, also apart of Hackney Account 🍉 and i am getting wrongfully stopped and searched. Imagined if the young people i work with see me getting treated like criminals how do u think the yp will see me after that.
