We've heard from countless women who have had horrific experiences of maternity care and we agree with Maternity Safety Alliance, mentioned in Sirin Kale's important article, that maternity services are broken. That's why we're backing their call for an urgent public inquiry.
This response from Rishi Sunak today shows he doesn't understand the breadth and scale of the crisis in maternity services across the country. So let's make it clear: maternity care is failing. Mums and babies are dying because of substandard care. We need a #MaternityInquiry
