The excitement for the lead up to Christmas is so wonderful for the kids!

What a special time of year.

I own multiple companies, but I also have 3 children

One of my personal rules is when I step through the door, I drop my business and pick up my family

Here are 3 other rules that help me be a family man and entrepreneur:

1) Put the phone down

Gosh, Elly is just turning into the most beautiful little girl and I love her to pieces!

I would give anything to pause this moment of time in our lives - it’s magical.

My daughter putting eye shadow on me while I type out tweets to the world is peak dadding and I’m here for it.

Spent 45 minutes tonight just laying in bed with Elly chatting about life.

This dad stuff never gets old.

This is what it’s all about. Going above and beyond. Being the dad your daughter needs. Nice job, Daniel!

Best advice I’ve EVER received on being a dad to a little girl:

The more love you give her growing up, the less she will feel the need to seek it out from other men as she ages.

“I love you, Elly!”

“Dad I already know that”

“Well I wanted to make sure!”

“Dad you don’t have to tell me so many times”

I love when kids make their own names for things.

For Elly, Frosted Flakes is “Tiger Flakes” and Honeycomb is “the bee cereal” 😂

Every time Elly tells me “you’re the best daddy in the whole world” it immediately makes me want to love on her that much more.

Positive reinforcement at work!

I think part of parenting is struggle.

Makes you appreciate those incredible priceless moments with your kids even more.

Maybe if it was always good, the good times wouldn’t be so special.

Maybe it’s all about how you look at things.
