Pakistan is gearing up for faster outbreak and epidemic control with the launch of the 7-1-7 Alliance for Early Action! Led by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Pakistan and supported by Resolve to Save Lives (RTSL).

The National Institute of Health (NIH), Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination with the support of Carter Center, organized a two-day national conference on 'Integrated Approach for Evidence-Based Public Health - Role of National Health Data Center'.

The National Institutes of Health Pakistan under the Ministry of HSR&C, in collaboration with the WHO, organized a two-day National Consultative Workshop on the Development of the National Action Plan for Health Security (NAPHS Pakistan 2024-2028).

NIH along with WHO also launched a WaRe antibiotic book app for health professionals. The WHO a WaRe antibiotic book or app can help countries fight antimicrobial resistance, by empowering health professionals to select the best antibiotics for patients.

The National Institute of Health in collaboration with the World Health Organization, organized the 2nd National Symposium on AMR at NIH Islamabad. A large number of health professionals, students, partners, and media personnel participated in the event.

The NIH and Fleming Fund together organized a prize Distribution Ceremony for the photography competition of antimicrobial resistance awareness at NIH Islamabad. Certificates and prizes were handed to the award winners.
