NSW Farmers thanks Adam Marshall for more than a decade of service to the people of rural NSW following his resignation on Thursday.
He argued for agriculture at the cabinet table, and knew the state of NSW can only succeed if its farmers can succeed.

We news of more than 33,000 feral pigs culled in four months.
But we know they are breeding faster than they're being culled. Everyone needs to be coordinated in their efforts so we don't waste the NSW Government's $13 million investment in the latest cull figures.

We know major biosecurity risks come from overseas, which is why we have been calling for travellers and importers to pay their fair share, like farmers already do.

Instead, the Government is pushing on with its plans to double tax farmers to pay for more biosecurity controls.

Great to have NSW Water Minister Rose Jackson join NSW Farmers President Xavier Martin for a trip around the Peel, Namoi and Gwydir valleys this week. Our members gave their perspective from the paddock, and we shared some of our practical solutions to issues facing farmers.
