In preparation for practicum travel, the Southeast Asia practicum engaged in a virtual dialogue with Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), a member of both the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) and Senate Foreign Relations Committee (SFRC).

Ambassador Jessye Lapenn, the inaugural Senior Coordinator for the “Partnership for Atlantic Cooperation” initiative at the Department of State encouraged students to think critically and creatively in finding new ways to advance our national interests when employing diplomatic tools.

Dr. Sonya Finley kicked off our next core course on 'Statecraft in the Modern Era,' a course guided by a central question of 'why and how do strategists orchestrate instruments of power to strategic/operational effect?'
