Here's your reminder that New York City is STILL America's safest big city.

Thanks to the hard work of the NYPD and all our partners, we recently marked another month of decreases in major crimes. And we're not slowing down our efforts.

Due to necessary repairs this weekend (4/13, 2AM to 4/15, 4AM), the Queens-bound BQE will be fully closed from the Atlantic Ave entrance ramp to the Manhattan Bridge exit ramp.

Plan ahead & take public transportation whenever possible.

E-bikes keep New York City moving, but we know their batteries pose a new threat to New Yorkers.

To keep everyone safe, we've banned the sale of uncertified batteries, piloted safe charging stations and have plans for a new trade-in program.
