High danger of Palestinians being forgotten in months ahead. Relegating this conflict to just another humanitarian crisis won't work in Palestine, the same way it doesn't in other conflicts. The humanitarian can't be resolved w/o the political.

Obama had a red line. Biden had a red line. Neither took action when it was crossed.

The message sent to US allies and enemies is that they can do what they like. The US may not like it, but they don't care enough to stop you.
