Last night, NIF convened a group of young people in Chicago to watch 'H2: Occupation Lab,' a documentary about Israel's military control over the lives of Palestinians in Hebron. They then talked about how years of Israeli occupation impact this current moment of grief and pain.

Our director in Israel, Mickey Gitzin, calls for Israeli progressives to better define who they are and what they stand for—so that, together, we can build a better, more democratic future.

Quick translation:
After destroying ~250 buildings in the Negev unrecognized village of Wadi Khalil, and leaving 300 *citizens of israel* homeless, Israeli authorities demolished the village’s mosque.

The operation took 600 policemen. Only two homes were left standing.

This isn't Gaza or the West Bank. This is within Israel proper.
