Biden calls for tougher gun regulations after Charlotte shooting. Will Congress act?

“Leaders in Congress need to step up so that we ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, require safe storage of guns, and pass universal background checks and a national red flag law.”

Yesterday, four law enforcement officers were shot and killed while serving warrants at a residence in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The gunman was armed with an AR-15 rifle and 40-caliber handgun. Over 100 shots were fired.
