The infuriating state of affairs in vividly illustrates the consequences of a government that turns a deaf ear to its people. The is culpable for shattering the social contract. They are not listening but I’ve been listening my whole life.

We spoke about this on the show John McGuirk and if I was a betting man I would suggest as I did when we spoke that the Minster will use the so-called lack legislative power as a way of hoodwinking the public into a buy-in on the EU migration pact.

On today's show, we asked if politicians should be prosecuted for lying. The vast majority of callers said yes. If they falsely promise something and don't deliver or just blatantly lie, they should be prosecuted. What do you think?

Thank you to everybody for taking part in yesterday’s show and as you know a clip of it went viral. A caller who lived in Mount Street shared her shock experience of living next to a shanty town. There is no doubt the daily podcast is having a huge impact.

Amidst the madness in the news, you would be forgiven for not noticing another increase in carbon tax as and from today. Punishing the tax payer is the only trick in the climate policy book. The Greens are on the way out of the ballot box. rte.ie/news/business/…

It will be interesting to see what this actually means. It would behoove the government to do what they should have done two years ago and move more staff to IPAS and process people within days in reception centers, removing/deporting those who don’t qualify as asylum seekers or

Are you supposed to bring your empty bottle in your suitcase until you get home from you holiday. Dublin Airport has ‘no plans’ to install return scheme machines despite its shops charging deposits. Another shambolic Green Party Plan to just charge a tax. independent.ie/irish-news/dub…

Well done Rob Carry and we need to fund more activities at home. It’s astonishing that we spend almost 7 billion on NGOs, many of whom don’t have the Irish people at heart and yet they won’t contribute the future of many young people in our own country.

Simon really believes that they have not failed on asylum accommodation believes communities agree with him. This is how completely out of touch the establishment parties are with the people and communities. We need change now.

Are electric cars cheaper to fuel than a petrol or diesel car? The real problem is that you may save a little on fuel vs electricity cost but you will loose all that and more when you try sell your new EV in two years and the value falls through the floor. independent.ie/life/motoring/…

As someone who has owned a small business and employed people many years ago, I can only imagine how small business owners are struggling at the moment. I promise to put as much effort into protecting those owners and supporting them with the proposals I have already made:
