Very sad news. Andy Gomarsall got me involved in Wasps Rugby 26 years ago and it was a great ride for such a long time.

I stuck with Wasps Football Club in 2014, but so sad to see this happen to the pro arm of our club and, of more importance, to the employees.

Exactly right. The ECB have made a number of crass decisions, but that isn't the fault of those people who have chosen to watch and enjoy this format. Especially those who may be watching cricket and/or women's cricket for the first time #GOSBTS

The floodlights are a good story: United had played in Yankee Stadium at the end of 51/52 and were amazed by the lights. They then installed lights at The Cliff so that the juniors could train in the evenings and, as you say, installed them at OT in 1957.
