This will be a tough encounter with two teams going toe to toe for a place in the final!

Attentions turn to cup action Friday as we take on Dodworth MWFC for a place in the EV2 Sportswear S&H County Senior League Cup Final.

We’ll look to upset the form book at South Kirkby Colliery Fc ground by booking our spot at the New York Stadium for the final.

After Saturday we didn’t think we’d get worse playing conditions this season, but tonight we did and it was BAD!

Yesterday’s game saw Hepworth United FC deservedly run out 3-1 winners in what was a game played out in awful conditions.

Long grass, gale force wind, and overall a poor game for the neutral, but Hepworth United FC made best of the conditions and deserved the 3 points.

The match officials have deemed the pitch unsafe due to the lack of a decent bounce despite it not being waterlogged!

The game will now be played at Highstone Road, S70 4EB.

Not ideal, but it’s the only way we can get today’s game played.

We have a 10:00 pitch inspection for today’s game against Hepworth United FC

Should the Colliery Road pitch remain unplayable, the game will be played at an alternate venue.
