Added to the memorial wall are the names of Deputy Billy Ihrig and Deputy Terrance Bateman in Washington DC. Deputy Ihrig’s End of Watch (EOW) was October 28,2021, and Deputy Bateman’s EOW was January 15, 2022.

Names of Officers killed in the line of duty are engraved on the walls of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and read aloud during a vigil.

Agencies across the state came together for a caravan ride throughout central Ohio. Light Ohio Blue’s caravan ended at the Scioto River in Downtown Columbus.

Light Ohio Blue continues until May 18th.
