We had a fantastic time at Hyde Park Picture House yesterday on our OPAL trip to see their Memory Matinee showing of Mary Poppins! It was a lovely afternoon out in a stunning venue.

A kind member has donated a Raizer II for OPAL in memory of Peter Smale. This piece of equipment will enable us to help our members off the floor if they have a fall. Today, OPAL staff had a training session on how to use it! We are now ready to use it, should the need arise.

Thank you very much to our volunteers who came in and helped us pack 80 Christmas hampers! These hampers will be going to our oldest members as a Christmas gift from OPAL. We hope this brings some Christmas cheer over the festive period!

Cookridge Primary School is hosting a morning of festivities for OPAL members. This is free to attend with refreshments provided. The children would love to see some happy faces!

We had a lovely time at Harewood House yesterday, looking at all the festive decorations, doing a spot of Christmas shopping, and having a wonderful lunch! The weather may have been misty and miserable, but we certainly weren't!
