This #SuperStarSunday we would like to send a huge shoutout to Lucas Turner! Lucas came into the PADS Burnaby office during his summer break to take sponsorship photos of some of our pups. He did a stupendous job and we are so grateful for both his talent and enthusiasm.

The UNESCO Heritage Site litter is ready to start making history of their own! Last week they put on their yellow vests for the first time and met their new humans. We are very thankful to their Breeder Caretakers, Xandrel and Tong, for giving these pups the best start to life.

As summer winds down, we are very grateful to all of our volunteers and their hard work. From raisers bringing pups with them on vacations, to volunteers giving our Advanced Dogs fun pool parties, our dogs had a blast!

It's Sunday! Time to enjoy the beautiful natural world all around us! We love going on hikes with our pups, once they are old enough. It's a great way to get some exercise, have some fun,  and bond with our dogs.  PADS Sounder recommends finding a trail with an paw-some view!

This #StaffSaturday we are excited to welcome Leurie! They are our new Kennel Coordinator and have been working with PADS since June 1st. 

Fun fact about Leurie is that they own a nine year-old corgi named Prince! If you are wondering, he does in fact act like he is a prince. 😜

Our pups need to learn from an early age what it's like to be with their person all the time. The biggest question our pups are always asking is echoed in Taylor Swift 's lyric, 'can I go where you go?'  And when you're a PADS volunteer, the answer is 'Yes!'

The exquisite Elfin gave birth to two amazing puppies! Our congratulations and thanks everyone who helped in the process.

PADS Thresher wants to remind everyone to get lots of sleep this #WellnessWednesday ! Summer is full of so many fun activities, but it's still important to make sure both humans and pups are getting lots of breaks in between their summer fun times. 😴

Kim Allen, a volunteer with PADS, writes 'The people I’ve met are some of the kindest of all.' 

Assistance Dogs-in-Training have public access rights, they can go to many different places, like stores and even on transit! As @NEWJEANSGLOBAL  sings 'we can go wherever you like!'

We hope everyone had a nice long weekend -- we know that PADS Mango II did, since he's clearly not happy about it being over! 😜

Work-life balance is crucial to living a happy healthy human life, and the same goes for our working dogs. Our dogs get lots of time to just hang out!
