Today is the anniversary of George F. Wolf’s death, a PA Turnpike employee who passed away in the line of duty. He was from Bucks County, he died on May 4, 1979, at the age of 64, while performing his duties as a PA Turnpike Line Painter in District 4.

Today is the anniversary of Paul H. Danner’s death, a PA Turnpike employee who passed away in the line of duty. A son and brother from Allegheny County, he died on May 3, 1968, while performing his duties as a PA Turnpike Flagman in District 1.

Today is the anniversary of Frank W. Knox’s death, a PA Turnpike employee who passed away in the line of duty. A WWII Veteran and husband from Ephrata, he died on April 25, 1974, at the age of 63, while performing his duties as a PA Turnpike Maintenance Worker in District 3.
