WOW. I missed this.

My last visit to Dickson Street Bookshop for a long while...and there, for $8, a first edition of Frank Edwards’ 1966 book, with its mangled, funhouse-mirror version of the #Roswell story. The truth was there to be investigated, waiting, long before Marcel spoke to Friedman.

At least one historic structure is catastrophically burning at the former #Roswell air base. It appears to be the east WWII train side warehouse. Hangar 84 is just out of view to the right edge of the frame. I am sick to see this.

About 25 years ago, I was attached to a ballistic missile defense program as a DoD civil servant. Funny how all the talk back then was about how these systems were expensive boondoggles that would never work.

Who is Richard Duke? I am ignorant of this tale.
