Our second grant application window is open until August 31 @ 11:59pm MST.

The grant is for new - newish writers or new writers to the genre.

Voting will close July 29th (today) at 11:59 pm EDT.

New closing dates for Membership, Voters’ Package: To purchase a CSFFA membership, to download the voters’ package, you must do it by 11:59pm July 22 (one week earlier than when voting closes).

Votes that might have already been submitted for it will be ignored and members alternate choices will be considered instead.

For that reason the CSFFA board, the Aurora Awards Administrator, and the author have agreed to remove it from consideration for our awards.  Due to the timing, no new work will replace it.

It has come to our attention that the novella, The Tiger Came to the Mountains by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, was not a SF, Fantasy, or a Horror story.

This does NOT affect voting for the awards: that deadline remains one week later (11:59 pm EDT on July 29, 2023 ).
The download form for the voters’ package will also close one week prior to the close of voting.

Voting is open for CSFFA members, until 11:59 pm EDT on July 29, 2023.
New date by which to purchase a CSFFA membership, and to download works from our voters’ package, is 11:59pm EDT, July 22, 2023.

CSFFA members through their account now can download and read the works nominated for a 2023 Aurora Award.

Voting begins June 17 and closes July 29 at 11:59 EDT.

Reminder to CSFFA member writers. CSFFA Professional Developmental Grant deadline is near; March 31, 2023, 11:59pm MT. Details in CSFFA's recent March newsletter.

Let the nominating begin! CSFFA members have until 11:59 pm EDT on April 22 to nominate the 2022 works they would like to see on the 2023 ballot. Nominators can return into the form and change saved selections any time until the deadline. Don’t wait until the last day!

DEADLINE, This Saturday at 11:59pm EST our lists of eligible works will be closed for additions. Only works on our eligibility lists may be nominated for this year’s Aurora Awards.
