I keep tinkering with this simulation of the actual vs perceived darkening of the sky during the eclipse. I also put a graph of data I took during the eclipse. The natural log of the light much more closely resembled the speed of the feeling of darkness. desmos.com/calculator/ucj…

Roughly 6500 people showed up at the Rochester Museum and Science Center to view the solar eclipse. That figure was more than 10k over the weekend, according to a rep. Many participated in this interactive data collection at the museum — showing where they were from. 13WHAM
