Spring is finally here. The cherry blossoms are tenderly beginning to peek out and there is a gentle hum in the breeze. It always feels like a surprise, an unexpected friend who welcomes you with a gentle smile and says, “I’m home.”

Ah, Spring.

In 1964, a bunch of high school students played hooky to catch a Beatles concert.

Although they failed to gain entry to the show, they had an unexpected encounter with Ringo Starr while they were in their car.

Ringo pulled up next to them and took their photograph.

Central Park was particularly glorious yesterday….Spring is nipping at our heels.

The Oscars paid tribute to those in the entertainment industry who died in the past year during the 'In Memoriam' segment.

Michael Gambon, Chita Rivera, Alan Arkin, Andre Braugher, Mathew Perry, Richard Lewis, Lee Sun-Kyun and Carl Weathers were some of the stars remembered.
