🚨Community Funding Alert: I secured $1,000,000 for the Sarvis Fork Water Extension Project in Sandyville, WV. These funds will help provide public clean drinking water to residents and businesses.

Today, I met with leaders from Marshall Health and Rivers Health to discuss the great medical care that they provide to rural communities in #WV .

I am happy to work with these groups to make sure that WV medical facilities have the resources they need for their patients.

After hearing Secretary Janet Yellen's responses to my questions in today's Ways and Means Committee hearing, I remain skeptical of the environmental and economic benefits behind the Biden Admin’s decision to allow Chinese entities to gain US tax dollars and increase taxes on Americans. I was honored to attend the Back the Badge Police Appreciation Rally this past weekend to showcase our gratitude for #WV law enforcement officers. It’s important that we stand by our police as they devote their lives to protecting our communities.

EMS employees work hard at getting to patients on time and providing life-saving medical care. I am grateful for #WV EMS and was glad to speak with several EMS leaders from the district to highlight the important work that they are doing in WV communities.

I was grateful to have met with a few emergency physicians who came to visit me from Emergency Physicians. Emergency physicians play an important role in helping assist patients in #WV and I am inspired by the great work that they do.

The EPA’s Clean Power Plan 2.0 rules are nothing but radical energy policies disguised by the Biden Administration in the name of “green energy.” I will make certain to work with my colleagues to hold the EPA accountable for these rules.

I had a wonderful time touring the YMCA of Southern West Virginia in Beckley today and speaking with CEO Jay Rist! The completed renovations along with their partnership with WVU Tech will foster an even closer connection with the community.

I had the pleasure of meeting with various hospital leaders from West Virginia. It’s critical that both doctors and their patients have access to the proper tools, medicine, and resources. I am thankful to our #WV hospitals for providing care in the state.

We are so blessed here in #WV to have the New River Gorge National Park, which is a beautiful display of our state’s scenery and wildlife. I hope everyone has a chance this week to venture out and enjoy the wild and wonderful views!

It was such a treat joining these students from Wayne Elementary School Honor Choir and Percussion Ensemble on their Capitol tour. I hope they enjoyed learning about the history of the U.S. Congress and the Capitol!

I met with some of Nucor’s managers for the bi-annual Environmental Managers meeting in DC.

We discussed what Nucor has been working on in West Virginia. Steel is essential to the U.S. economy and I am pleased to hear about the positive work that Nucor has been doing.
