Our bipartisan bill granting first responders critical mental health supports PASSED the PA House!

Today the House voted to extend workers comp coverage to first responders w/post-tramatic stress injuries (HB 1632 by Rep. Jennifer O'Mara).

Our first responders need to know that no matter what call they answer, or what building they go into, they will have help available to them.

I'm proud to be able to work on this bipartisan bill with my friend Rep. Jennifer O'Mara, who has spent her career standing up for our heroes and championing for better mental health & workplace protections for first responders. We expect to have a vote on the floor this week. (4/4)

Today we stood with CeaseFirePA to urge the Senate to act on the responsible gun safety measures passed by the #PAHouse that are still sitting in the Senate.

“May 2024 as Jewish American Heritage Month in PA” and “July 2024 as Muslim American Heritage Month.”

So great to embrace moments that bring our communities closer together.
