Can understand the Ten Hag pile-on this morning, but the last Chelsea goal is nothing to do with him. Players should be aware enough to mark properly from a corner, whatever the situation. Leaving Palmer in that much space is kids stuff.

That’s pathetic from Man United. To switch off like that at a corner and leave Palmer in that much space is ridiculous.

Erik ten Hag on United's injury problems ahead of Chelsea game: 'In the frontline and midfield we are OK and we have options there, but in the backline we have a lack of options. The good thing is, back in training this afternoon, is Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans.'

Ederson still out so Ortega is in goal for Man City. De Bruyne fit again and starts. Stones on the bench despite being ruled out by Guardiola. Saka and Jesus start for Arsenal. Martinelli on the bench.

Lindelof down and coming off. Martinez coming on. That's both starting centre-backs United have lost through injury tonight.

United all over the place again. Antony about to come on, but really they need Casemiro. Wissa finding far too much space between defence and midfield.

Man United's xG for that half was 0.09, which seems generous given they've created nothing. Brentford all over them for 30 minutes and should be in front. They've had 14 shots already and hit the post and the bar.

Man United did all right for the first 15 minutes but now they're rocking a bit. Gaps opening up. Toney has just hit the post. Frank up off his seat asking for more noise from the home fans.
