I will be on BBC Newsnight tonight to talk about how companies should be governed to maximise stakeholder value (the real thing not the green washing) and not shareholder value, and why Thames Water is a perfect example of bad governance: bad for people, environment and planet.

You might not hear it in news much, but Scotland’s water is nationalised; railways too (all fares off peak to June). Public before shareholders. And no Junior Doctor strike after deal. Hear lot of ‘Scot Gov bad’ stories trumped out. Less of these things public actually want.

We all deplore what's happening in Gaza. But the Westminster parties and apparatus have decided that it's more important to prevent the SNP from having any meaningful debate or policy input.

So Hoyle is at it again. He barely scrapped through last week with his job, and here he is blocking democracy again.

The biggest threat to our society is the intolerance of the far right who have captured the Tory party and now it seems the political mainstream.
