Could you imagine someone w/ Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) being prescribed an antidepressant drug as a front line tx without any examination of diet or lifestyle.

Think beyond what they tell you

You want to brainwash & confuse someone? Give them a drug & tell them its correcting a brain chemical imbalance they can't see or test for & doesn’t exist…AND when they feel like shit..
1. Tell them they would feel worse without the drug
2. Give them another drug

so true and what's even more pathetic is where people got the idea to go to the medical system to fix their emotions and private life to begin with, to use up #NHS money that should be being spent on ACTUAL and REAL illnesses and symptoms, and generally be illogical.

Dr. Roger McFillin No chance. I went to hospital with a broken bone ; wouldn't go with anything else these days. I just don't trust medical doctors with anything not purely mechanical. Tbh, if they could have fixed me at my local garage, I'd have gone there.
